North Dakota Gets A Nice Win

I haven't been able to follow North Dakota and Southern Utah as much as I would have wanted this season, but did want to pass along a nice victory by the Fighting Sioux.

Forward Patrick Mitchell (Des Moines, Iowa) scored a season-high 22 points, connecting on his first six 3-pointers of the contest to lead North Dakota past South Dakota State 89-70 on Thursday at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.

With the victory North Dakota evens their record at 5-5.
