Deane Martin decided he wanted to return to the college basketball scene after spending the past five years at the professional level.Very solid article and good background on the coach, who will certainly be a candidate for the permanent head coaching job after the season is over.
Simply trying to reunite with a former coach, the Mercer High School graduate suddenly gained a much higher level of responsibility. Martin went to Division I Idaho State as an assistant coach but earned the interim head coach tag only 10 games into his tenure with the Bengals, a member of the Big Sky Conference.

Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteJon, I believe the Bracket Buster matchups are announced in a week. Any solid predictions as to who plays who? I think we may see Nevada at Weber in a TV game, but other than that..?
College Sports Madness made its predictions, but I don't think they took regionality into play.

Yep, January 30th is the date they are announced... no projections yet, but you gave me an article idea :) Will do some research and come up with some guesses in the next couple days.
ReplyDeleteAgreed on Nevada/WSU, that is my best guess also, seems to make a whole lot of sense.
