Charles Odum Named Big Sky POW

Charles Odum has broken Damian Lillard's streak! Odum was named the Big Sky Player of the Week for his performance against Northern Colorado in a road win.

Odum, a 6-foot, 205-pound senior guard from Lakewood, Calif, scored 22 points with five assists and four rebounds as the Vikings beat Northern Colorado 86-75 on Thursday, Jan. 12, to record their first road win of the season. Odum made 7-of-9 field goals, was 4-of-6 from 3-point range, and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line. It was his sixth 20-point game of the year.

Odum is averaging a solid 17.2 PPG this year.

Other candidates were: Collin Chiverton (Eastern Washington), Kenny McGowen (Idaho State), Kareem Jamar (Montana), Shawn Reid (Montana State), Mike Proctor (Northern Colorado), and Scott Bamforth (Weber State).
